What makes a great review?

The best reviews share your own valuable insights and may offer helpful suggestions. Here are a few things to keep in mind:

What makes a review inappropriate?

Disrespectful or unsupported criticism is not helpful. While it’s important to share both good and bad experiences, it’s important to stick to the facts. We will not accept obscene, profane, or unsupported negative comments. Personal attacks and hate speech are expressly forbidden.  Posting purposely false information can have legal ramifications.

Reviews can only be submitted by current or former clients. Reviews based on hearsay or someone else’s opinion are not allowed. Also, don’t post a review if you have a conflict of interest. For example, do not review a company you currently work for, a competitor of the company you currently work for, or a company you will receive compensation from for posting the review. We also don’t accept reviews that are clearly promotions: if you want to advertise, please contact our advertising team.

Be safe. Personal opinion is vital to a valuable review, but personal information should not appear in the review. This includes details such as email addresses, physical addresses, phone numbers, credit cards numbers, etc.

Overall, use your best judgment when writing reviews – if something doesn’t feel right, don’t do it.   See WealthVisor Terms & Conditions for more detailed information on what is permissible.   We may remove a review if we determine that any of our Community Guidelines or Terms & Conditions have been violated.

How do I report a review that is inappropriate?

If you feel a review is inappropriate or has violated any of our guidelines, please contact us.

Can I make my reviews anonymous?

Yes, you have the option to write an anonymous review.

When will my review get posted?

We review all submissions prior to posting on our website and our goal is to publish all reviews within 7 days of receiving it.

Why was my review not posted?

There are various reasons why a review may not be posted. A review may not be posted if it did not meet our Terms of Use or Community Guidelines.

Why can’t I find a professional or company I am looking for?

We are building our directory and adding thousands of new listings every month. Our goal is to offer the most comprehensive source of information about financial advisors, insurance agents and tax preparers to help consumers choose the right one.
