Yes. As a matter of financial planning purposes, many Financial Advisors encourage you to share your work retirement plan with them so they can properly include it in the overall
financial plan as well as advise you on the allocation of its investments.

Yes, ONLY some advisors are truly qualified to do this – look for an RIA firm (true fiduciary for the client).
