A financial advisor allocates your wealth in a manner appropriate for your age and risk tolerance. Knowing when to invest in certain sectors and preparing for inevitable volatility in the markets will give you peace of mind and help grow your wealth.

By constructing, implementing and monitoring a plan that drives you toward your goals. An independent advisor can help with this while being unbiased and focused on your plan.

A financial advisor can help you put things in perspective, – such as what is your most important financial concern in the next 5 years; 10 years; for retirement? By helping you define your goals and concerns, and financial advisor can provide details and facts about various investments, strategies, and concepts that you may not be aware of. Of course, with as with any profession, you can find “good” advisors, and also bad advisors. Therefore, you may first want to consider a “credentialed” financial advisor, such one with a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, or a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation. These people have made a serious commitment of their time and effort to complete anywhere from 5, (CFP designation), to 9 or 10 college level courses (ChFC designation) and have passed all exams required for their respective designations. This is in addition to the regular 2 week course that state licensing department requires. In addition, “credentialed” financial advisors have strict continuing education requirements that must be completed each year in addition to those required by their state licensing board.

As a financial advisor, the best way for us to help you is to really get to know you as much as possible and get deep inside the nuts and bolts of your finances and more importantly, have a full understanding of your financial goals. Where you want to be, how do you envision retirement. Things like that. We are planners. The plans we create are for you. If it is not going to be tailored specifically for your needs. It will be pointless.
