Is there specific paperwork I need to fill out? And how do I decide between all of the firms: Schwab, Vanguard, Fidelity, Chase Investment, or should I just go with an individual? Help!

I want to start saving more money, but I am really concerned about losing money and I don’t want to take too much risk. Where kinds of investments should I consider?

We recently got married and still have seperate accounts. It is also hard to keep track of expenses. I am not a control freak, but I would like to get a better sense for our spending and also start saving. There are a lot of changes as a newlywed and your financial advice is appreciated!

I’m over 59 1/2 and I want to pay cash for a 1st time primary home. Does that reduce the 20% tax for withdrawal of $80k from my 401k? Can I do a roll-over into different savings(IRA?) Am I limited on how much I can take out of my present fund? Right now, I have about 150k in the fund. I want to reduce debt to increase other retirement savings.

There’s all this talk about social security being gone by the time I need it (I’m currently 32). How much validity is there to this theory?

My father passed away and I inherited his IRA, how does it work if I want to take distributions? Can I just start taking them, or do I need to take certain steps first?

Most of my investment portfolio is in one technology company and I don’t want to sell it all now (it would also be hard to sell too many shares at one time), however I am concerned about the risk of having so much of my net worth in one stock. How does hedging work and can I do it? Does ther need to be a certain value of the stock for hedging to make sense?
